Won’t fit if you have a short torso and wide hips

I followed the size guide and it doesn’t fit. I have a short torso and wide hips. My hips push it up into my ribs. If it was not as wide, it would fit my waist, but I didn’t even think to measure the distance from hips to my ribs. It’s about an inch away from being able to buckle at all. Not worth the hassle of returning and not even getting a full refund. I needed a belt to help my posture when lifting my disabled dog, but I’ll have to keep looking. Just a fair warning: measure more than just your waist.
