Update: I've had it for two weeks now and the first few tests seem to be working fine. I checked them all with pH strips but was actually looking for a more convenient and less wasteful way to test them in a VPN, but both temperature and pH are one of the most important things. I exclusively do organic living soil gardening and I've been a grower in the cannabis industry for four years and the problem with this product exists at work and was the first time exactly I don't know maybe a week and a half and now this reading is always still pore is not ok, that's extremely high acidity with water i tested to make sure it's 100% good, it's on the pH scale at around 6.5 which is where i like to sit. In any case, for some reason this meter has already gone as far as showing the pH of my plain water so acidic it will kill your plants. I see the same baby that comes with a pH solution so you can calibrate it which is nice but as it is not included in this kit there is no way to recalibrate it unless I order it and it costs the same. Order this how it's done just order a new one which comes already with this one so I wouldn't recommend this product, you get what you pay for which is cheap so I just remembered. I was excited because it worked and I had an issue with one of my planters when trying to lower the ppm and pH levels and it read the flow perfectly and helped me solve it after which it worked fine. After that, just check a few things before reading compost tea. but then again, if after a few weeks it just doesn't work and also doesn't give me a chance to exchange or return it, that's a little frustrating and a waste of money, I'd buy the gold standard, either use the strips or the liquid tester from which You know it's that pH, by the way, when it turns that color, because after retesting these strips, they're so far off the mark that I'd kill everything if I had to balance the water to what i need to do it is so easy it would cook it. Still disappointed, thought I could exchange it or return it, but I don't see a way to do that either. Updated: I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS KIT. I always do a color test kit for accuracy when trying to keep things great, but they have worked great for me to keep my ppm and pH where I want and check flow etc. d.
