Review on Jeep XJ/MJ Rear Shackle Kit - JKS OGS651 for Enhanced Performance by Leonardo Sandoval

We simply put these on my buddy's XJ because he has springy body bumps at the very back on medium to large bumps. The stock struts simply allow the rear of the longer lifting leaf springs to sit too close to the body (in front of the rear bumper). These rear-facing calipers gave us the required 45-degree angle and pushed the rear leaf spring bushing lug back and down a bit. This gave us an extra small boost of nearly an inch, but it made XJ driving that much better and completely eliminated the hard hit we were getting. When installing, do both sides at the same time. This will make getting them a little easier.
