Constantly disconnecting and reconnecting;

I have an HP laptop with Windows 10 and connected Kamvas 13 with the 3-in-1 USB cable that came with Kamvas. I installed the driver and started using Kamvas in Microsoft OneNote. Its functionality is, well, clunky. I've remapped pen buttons and left buttons based on recommendations from other OneNote users. This improved usability somewhat, but it was still too easy to hit the wrong button on the pen or have OneNote go into a weird hang state that required me to press ESC about 10 times before it went to the pen to draw returned. I've never had problems like this using just one mouse. One problem is that the Huion driver software doesn't allow you to assign a multi-key sequence like Alt + DEM (with four Alt + D, E, M keys pressed in a row). This sequence calls the drawing panel and selects a medium sized eraser. The software only allows you to use Alt+D, Alt+E or Alt+M, not Alt+DEM. According to some YouTube videos, you can use Alt + DEM with old Huion software. But the new software doesn't allow that. How annoying. Based on the issues above, I'll give it a C for ease of use. However, the big problem is that Kamvas 13 keeps disconnecting and reconnecting. It is intermittent and happens randomly. I've tightened the cables, tried different USB ports on my computer, uninstalled and reinstalled the Windows driver, but none of this worked. I tried three different USB power supplies, all were 2.1A or more, so the power supply is not the problem. It looks like a driver problem because other people on the internet are complaining about the same thing. I applied to huion.com but didn't get any reply within 3 days. Given the clunky usability and intermittent connectivity, I'm returning this. It's not ready for prime time.
