Better than a cotton floss mop
It picks up more dirt than the old cotton floss mop we used and squeezes more water out of it (using Rubbermaid's "Bake" mop bucket). This will make the floor dry faster, which is a good safety feature. We bought a medium sized floor which is too big for home use. For a homeowner I would suggest a small size. Commercial and business establishments are probably best served by medium or large companies.
