I bought this a year and a half ago as a night light for my two young daughters and they love it. The remote control is a bit complex, but it offers a lot of color and effect options, and more importantly, it always worked. To be honest, the moon looks amazing when illuminated. The color is so consistent and bright throughout, and it also has a battery so it's cool to run around with wirelessly. But 99.9% of the time he was standing on a stand on the dresser and not moving. My only concern is that after a year and a half he stopped working. Sometimes I can get it to work by unplugging it for a while and plugging it back in, but now it just won't light up. Too bad because when it worked it was great. My daughters miss it, but I'm not sure it's worth buying a new one if long-term reliability is in question.
