Didn't fit perfectly, had to be creative. It's important to note that a 6-way lug wrench will not work here. Now I need a 5-point wrench, so I need to find it.
Arrived quickly in good condition. Installed with no adjustment on my 14th year Sienna. To be honest I can't tell if I ripped my original jack myself or if it was due to corrosion but I'll be very careful with that. I wouldn't want to buy any other.
Fits and works great. The part you twist in the van floor to lower and raise the cable that holds your spare cable isn't the same size as my wrench, so I took an old 7/8" socket, welded a handle on top and added it to my side device. Tire changing tools. Anyway, this part definitely solved my problem.
Perfect for my 2004 Toyota Sienna (although Amazon's 'garages' feature says this isn't the case). The installation took 30 minutes, including the removal of the old elevator. No nuts need to be attached to the bolts on the underside of the car. So don't lose your old nuts. The only "problem" was that it uses a 5 point nut and doesn't come with a matching 5 point socket. I was able to turn the 5-point nut with a crescent wrench, but I intend to order a 5-point head as soon as possible.
This part is ideal for the 2005 Toyota Sienna. The description says no, but it is. The only problem is the crank, but it is 5-way while the OEM part is 6-way. The included adjustable wrench will not fix anything. My wife waited 3 months for Toyota to recall to replace the OEM part but they never did. Her solution was to stow the spare in the hatch in the bag. This will be the last Toyota we buy. Honda, we come to you. Thanks Dorman.
Fits snugly on the 2004 Toyota Sienna. Page comparison with the old one. It doesn't look like it will fit right, but I found that the slight crease on the new one is due to a misalignment of the rod on the cable reel. (New design) The old bar attaches to the pulley about midway, but when installed there is no difference. This Dorman replacement has the same 5-point nut as the new Toyota replacement, so you can't use a tire tool (6-point) to remove the spare tire. I'll carry an adjustable wrench
I installed this part on a 2008 Toyota Sienna LE and it (barely) fits and does the job but there is a flaw in this part that can leave you stuck if you don't use it have necessary tools for working with the mechanism. This lift is controlled by a hex head that you turn from the cabin, on the floor, just behind the passenger seat, and you have to open the right sliding door to access it. The rug has a special "U" shaped flap that you lift to access the hex head in question. If you follow the…
