Quality workmanship - spare wheel holder

Robust with excellent welds and materials. I installed a through wall chute in my teardrop camper. Excellent application proposed by the developer. Very satisfied. Supplied with two sets of brackets for different size trailers on a standard bracket.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Just know what you're going to mount it on.

Holder works great. Remember that you will need a square or rectangular bar for installation. A piece of steel angle alone will not work. And there are no nuts in the kit, just regular nuts and washers.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Updates

made in the USA Best in Exterior Accessories

This was the perfect spare wheel for my trailer. Made in the USA and of high quality. Not the best guide, but just a matter of choosing short or long bolts as needed, then installing a washer, expansion washer, and nut. Pretty straight

Welded creating a functional bracket for the spare wheel.

Discreet spare wheel holder. Modified to fit the front of the round tube trailer. Very disappointing are the hex nuts that hold your tire in place. They have a 1/2"-13 thread pattern and I can't find a true tapered traditional nut with that pattern. The supplied hex nuts dig into the rim and damage the rim coating.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly dented

This is what you need

My wife bought a trailer for her craft shows. I wanted to fit a spare tire and rim in case the trailer breaks. The coupling screwed onto my trailer without any problems. clear instructions. No missing parts. The trailer rim fits perfectly. Update: This is the second spare tire holder I've bought from Rigid for the trailer my wife bought to replace her old one. Was just as good as the first.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Unreliable

durable tire assembly.

Heavy duty, made by Rigid to fit any stud spacing. This is the heaviest tire holder I have ever seen, very satisfied. Would like a locking feature. I also wish the stud nuts were real lug nuts and not the standard washer and lock washer nuts. While they work, you can't use a regular bolt lock that requires a standard nut to function. I recommend, you won't be disappointed.

Pros
  • Good value for money
Cons
  • thin

A strong bearer!

Received the spare wheel holder today (a day earlier than expected). I installed it on my boat trailer (side channel - 4" vertical and 2" horizontal). Parts included both 3" studs, which would fit my setup, and 4" studs if fitted to a 3" x 3" tongue. All necessary hardware was included as shown in the picture, making installation very easy. You can get cheaper straps, but if you want solid, quality construction, I think you'll be very glad you paid a little more for it. I would buy it again and

Pros
  • practical item

  • so far so good
