Review on Dorman 749 469 Passenger Window Regulator by Mike Littlejohn

Despite rave reviews for this product as a replacement, the unit I received was not working properly. The window went down and never went up again. After many frustrating hours of troubleshooting (everything seemed to be working as it should, but the anti-pinch feature worked when trying to close the window from the fully open position), I found that the window holder was sticking against the Roller body twisted open position, causing the window to get stuck in the rails. Pressing down while pushing the button up helped restore function as the pressure was enough to break the binding. Returned this for the OEM part (which is $50 more) and the OEM part fits perfectly and works great. I may have gotten a slice of lemon. but from the description it should have been an improvement over the OEM part. I do not think so.
