Review on 🔧 Aftermarket Replacement: 1222 Moen Cartridge for One-Handle Posi-Temp Faucets & Moen Tub Shower - Durable Brass and Plastic by Essential Values by Brian Rogers

At first I thought this would be a great replacement for my Moen bath faucet but after a little over a month it started leaking when turned off. He continued to increase the amount of leachate until a puddle of water formed around the drain. After just a few weeks, I also noticed that when I turned off the faucet, there was a thud, like the water pipes banging against the wall. I couldn't find the source of the noise but felt it through the back of the water assembly by removing the wall access panel. This made me wonder if the cartridge itself was causing the knock. I bought and installed an original Moen #1222 cartridge. The leaks disappeared along with the sound of the pipe banging. I am very disappointed with this replacement cartridge!
