Review on Thermalright TF8 Thermal Compound Paste: High Performance Carbon-Based Heatsink Paste, 13.8 W/mK, CPU Cooler Interface Material - 2 Grams with Tool by Carlos Barete

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Cheap new paste VS TF8.

I'm pretty sure all the negative reviews are from noobs who misapplied this. I switched mobo so I went to this one and it was worth it. After using it, I immediately ran some stress tests to make sure it actually worked. I used cheap recycled but new paste in my first stress test and averaged 62-65c. Same stress test with TF8: 57-60c. With TF8, the idle temperature was about 5-8 seconds lower. This stuff works if you use it the right way and don't over use it! This material is very thick and difficult to peel off the motherboard, but it works. Overall, along with other tests, I noticed about a 10 degree reduction in CPU heat under full load/gaming compared to cheap paste.
