I bought these a few months ago before Thanksgiving. I wasn't expecting much given the price, but I had company and my old block of meat was looking really battered. They are beautiful. The use of wood in their assembly, handles, everything about them. They are thinner than my old ones so I didn't think they would wear well. I was really wrong. I've chopped and sliced and sawed frozen meat on them and they still don't have a scratch. They are also pleasantly light, which helps me a lot because I have arthrosis in my hands. I can't say enough about these boards so I had to go back and tell you how they look after months of holiday use. Nice.
