Failed to load media. I've only recently started using reusable K cups and immediately realized that the main disadvantage is the subsequent cleaning of the reusable cup. Then I found these paper filters and they made cleaning so much easier. Simply place them in a reusable K-Mug, add your favorite ground coffee, close the lid and use like any other K-Mug. After that, simply open the cup and remove the filter. (See video). You may still have a few reasons, but that is at least 90% more cleaning effort than without a filter insert. You will find that the filter is slightly shorter than the reusable K-Cup so it doesn't quite fit to the bottom. In my case, that's not a problem because the filter holds more than enough coffee for my taste. If you really like amazingly strong coffee and need to pack more, this can be a problem. However, I suspect that for most people the filter will suffice. Don't push the filter all the way into the K cup as this will result in it not having a 'lip' at the top to hold in place when the lid is snapped open and which will prevent [most] bases. from spilling into the K cup.
