I work in the medical field, stand all day and my family has varicose veins, so I wear compression stockings for prevention and comfort. As I have no acute medical problems and wear compression stockings to prevent blood pooling, a pressure of 20-30mmHg has been sufficient in the past and I have been through many compression stockings. accurate impression of the product. After about three washes in cold water (air dried) the socks have lost 50% of their elasticity and I'm not getting the compression I need. The material feels cheap, plastic. I no longer use these socks at work and would return them if I could. Would recommend if you are looking for cute long socks for extra warmth but not compression.
