I've taken these off on 3 trips and they seem to hold securely to my luggage rack. Don't worry about it loosening or falling off. The only thing I would like to change is that the direction of the zippers on the side pockets has been reversed to make them easier to access while riding. Other than that small issue, I really like this bag. Update: After some use, one of the zippers just came loose. There is one more that can still be used to close the top but is still disappointed. Another update, the second zipper just broke and now this bag is unusable. Wouldn't buy again.
