Installation is a bit tedious. It looks like the original lock cylinder, has the same dimensions, but is clearly not an exact replacement. As mentioned earlier, the door will open but not lock. I removed the stock from the original lock set and used the internals and stock in the new lock set and after half an hour of fiddling it worked like a new lock should. I also had the problem that the key didn't come out after plugging it in. Too bad when I put the old parts in the new lock I didn't tighten the lock cap tight enough. I had to tighten the cover three more latches and it worked like clockwork. However, he did not expect that he would have to rebuild a lot and study the mechanics of locks.
