Review on Prismacolor 92885T Premier Colored Pencils Review: Soft Core, 36 Piece Set Exceeds Expectations! by Dawn Fischer

I'm a beginner and I really wanted to like them. Bought these along with the Prismacolor sharpener. They are creamy and blend wonderfully. However, they break. I am very upset that I spent money on them. It got to the point that I was afraid to sharpen them. I only colored four pages and half the pencils are gone. The photo shows tips that were two weeks old and fell off during sharpening. A pencil was completely broken and unusable. They have not been abandoned or roughly treated. In contrast, I used another, cheaper, soft wax stick and lost a tip after two months. It works almost as well and I'm ordering more of it now. This doesn't happen to everyone, so my guess is that some Prismacolors boxes are broken and some aren't. Mine were broken.
