Like the other reviewer, I ordered a stainless steel and received a black muffler. I have emailed the seller and will update the information. I needed the muffler to pass the test, so I ordered them to weld on a black one. I wanted a little less noise but I will say it sounds amazing. The whole workshop knew when the truck started. It has a very loud aggressive tone when first started, soft at idle. Quiet in economy mode, great sound 0-60. The neighbors will hate him. Update: The seller replied that the black block is stainless steel with a black protective coating. Given the choice of black or stainless steel in the product selection, I was expecting a difference in looks. Why paint stainless steel? If it's a 5-star stainless steel muffler that your neighbors hate. 2015 1500 5.7
