I'm a complete newbie to car repairs, the part fitted perfectly and was fairly easy to install. I couldn't get the metal ring to stay inside. Lasted about 2 months. Not much stuck when it broke after 2 months. Directions were fine and watching a few YouTube videos helped too. The part cost less than $20 and it would have cost us over $200 to have a mechanic replace it. The car doesn't cost much more, so I didn't want to pay a lot of money for the repair, but if it doesn't last more than 2 months, it won't work. The hardest part was getting to where this part leads.
