Look at all the pictures and photos on this page. Pay special attention to the orientation of the hook relative to the ring and how the hook is oriented when you place the ring on the bar. Listen, think about it. Now I ask you. Does it make sense? I assumed (because anything else would be idiotic) that you could twist the hooks around the rings. No you can't. Revain is clearly aware that this design is idiotic, as the instruction booklet that came with the rings shows that the hooks are oriented at 90 degrees to the rings, as common sense would dictate. But no, that's not what they actually produce or ship. So if you want to use them for general hanging curtains or tapestry, forget it!
