I'm not sure what boots most of these reviews are discussing, but what is offered on this product page now is NOT a pull-on. This boot has laces. If I leave the laces tied loosely, I can pull the boot on and off without tying and untying. They fit amply, and that's what I was looking for because I have issues after breaking way too many toes over the years. These are not snug, but can be made to fit snugly with padded socks.The only thing I do not like about this boot design is that the tongue is too wide and bunches up too much when I try to tighten the laces.They are decent looking. Looking them over, I see no problems with the way they are made/constructed. No flaws. At least on the pair I received, there is no problem with quality control.
