I've been watching a few online video tutorials on how to program this remote that others have posted and read the instructions, but I've had no luck programming this wand. I can say that for several days I spent a few days for a few hours just in command learning mode. I didn't attempt to program until I had successfully and repeatedly exited practice mode. Then I spent about 2-3 hours programming. Constantly "reconfiguring" the wand, re-issuing commands. The instructions describe that if I successfully program the movement of the wand using the remote control command, it will vibrate and flash colors (if I remember correctly), however I'm instructed to do this so the movement and command are in sync, but nothing works when the wand is used as programmed. I started with very simple commands, such as B. Volume up, where the wand command would flick the wand up and volume down would flick the wand down. The only successful command that worked was to increase the volume. At first I tried syncing the commands with our cable box's universal remote, but since I was having so many problems I used the basic programming commands with the remote that came with the TV. So switch off, switch on, louder and quieter. It was sooooo much work and there was little for that. Basically, I decided that even if I took more time to get everything working perfectly, the movement of the wand was so specific that I could see the frustration of just trying to change the channel. I'm pretty tech savvy, but then I quickly grabbed my good old traditional remote control! That was just my experience with the wand.
