This thing didn't even last a mango! Broke on first use. All he did was crush my ripe mango. The handles are a bit small (my hands are medium-sized men's gloves). The edges aren't super smooth, nor are they sharp, but they aren't as blunt or rounded as we'd like either. Not a quality tool, buy it for life. A knife would be better. Spend $5-10 more and get rid of that flimsy cheap junk. The blade had many flaws as one would expect when tested on Forged in Fire. Or hit something hard. With repeated use, the edges are more likely to cause a hot stop or cuts on hands. I am not satisfied with my purchase and will purchase a higher quality product.
