Review on ๐Ÿš— ACDelco Professional 530-335 Premium Gas Charged Rear Shock Absorber: Superior Performance for a Smooth Ride by Chuck Chen

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Fits well. Only go one way, be careful

Just installed these on a 2005 GMC Envoy SLT 4WD and they are definitely a larger diameter than the stock smooth ride premium shocks, which are available from stock. I managed to start them without removing the wheels and without jacking up the car. Haven't tested the ride yet but they seem to fit well. ATTENTION: They only go in one direction. The top of the shock absorber is different on each side where the bolt is inserted. The flat part faces the interior of the car, the slightly protruding part faces the outside. I almost missed this small detail and I had a bigger problem. Update: The rear travel is definitely stiffer than stock shocks. It rides well and keeps the tires on the ground. They're not as soft as the premium stock dampers with a smooth ride, but they're a lot cheaper and feel better.
