Makes case fans happy!
This won't work miracles, but it will reduce the vibrations going through your case and in some cases, it will make things slightly quieter. Is this mandatory? NOPE. This is for someone who wants to make their PC as quiet as possible. Period. End of story. It's not going to take that one noisy fan you have and make it magically silent though. A good test would be to remove the fan you would use this gasket for. Put electrical tape between that fan and wherever it mounts to, then reinstall the fan. See if that makes a difference. If it does, then this product will work for you.
