Fixed flaw good for me

New Fractal Design Define XL R2 case. When system first powered on, there was a clackity, clackity, clack sound. Seems there wasn't enough clearance between the bottom fan and the bottom grill. Not enough to stop the fan, just rubbing somewhere. Quick fix was some washers from my hardware drawer to raise fan slightly; permanent fix was to install this Coolerguys 140mm rubber fan gasket. Easier fix than returning case. Absolutely silent now.

Pros
  • Good quality rubber gasket. Perfect fit for 80mm muffin fan.
Cons
  • The product may not come with clear and thorough installation instructions

Great and effective and sealing radiator/fan air gaps

Built my first fully watercooled PC rig earlier this year and upgraded the crap stock fans on my AIO's with some Noiseblocker fans but I noticed there was some big air gaps which can decrease the pressure of air across the radiator fans and thereby reduce cooling efficiency. These fit the bill nicely, easy trimmable to work on my 240mm radiator and look good. For price, can't be beat

Pros
  • These worked well with the AC Infinity AXIAL S1225D, Dual 120mm Muffin Fan.
Cons
  • The product may not be as durable as expected, leading to frequent replacement

Very poor manufacturing quality and packaging

The gaskets arrived pretty beat up. There was also a greenish residue inside the bag and on the gaskets so I had to wash them. In the end, it’s just rubber and it works, but don’t expect decent quality.

Pros
  • Pros: silences noisy case fansCons: pricey
Cons
  • The gaskets may cause overheating in some situations

Great invention that keeps case vibration/noise to a minimum

Great invention by coolerguys. These fan gaskets will prevent unwanted case vibration. I use them on all my case builds with lots of fans.

Pros
  • Their unique design effectively reduces noise and vibrations, creating a quieter and more comfortable environment
Cons
  • The product may not be backed by a reliable customer support team

Easy to install good for me

One issue, because it didn't seem to fit snugly. I'm sure that it may just be mine, but I made it work regardless. The product may not be compatible with all types of computer cases.

Pros
  • Some fans are not flush with the seal.
Cons
  • The product may not be compatible with all types of computer cases

Yeah, it's allright

Arrived on time, intact. Just not quite the fit I was hoping for. I have used other gaskets that fit perfectly, but this was not one of them.

Pros
  • The two-pack ensures that you have an extra gasket on hand if you need it, providing added value for your money
Cons
  • The gaskets may be difficult to install in tight or cluttered spaces

They fixed my case vibration.

While these do go in they don't fit perfectly like many of the reviews here state. Some of my 120mm fans have extra rubber that sticks up which will likely change as they break in over time. The good news is that by buying and installing 5 of these (4 for fans, 1 for a radiator) it fixed my case vibration so they do what they are advertised to do. I would probably buy again if I had to build another pc.

Pros
  • Amazing. Every fan should come with this! Highly recommend.
Cons
  • The product may not come with any warranty or guarantee

a bit finicky, but work well

Not being adhesive makes them a little difficult to place on some areas, but they do what they're supposed to do and create a tight seal around my fans and case/radiator

Pros
  • ‎0.739 ounces
Cons
  • The gaskets may be difficult to remove once installed

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Over priced under perforning.

There made off very thin flimsy silicone rubber. They dont hold there shape making them almost worthless. If you are looking for a gasket keep looking.

Pros
  • Works well. Creates nice seal between fan and whatever surface it is installed on.
Cons
  • The gaskets may not be as effective on certain surfaces

Will buy again in the future

I should have bought one more (I have bought two of these so far). I have a 120mm Delta fan slapped right on to my Prolimatech Megahalem CPU heatsink. That heatsink was designed for slimmer 120mm fans, so I have been forced to use zip ties to mount my Delta fan to the heatsink. As a result, the vibration is loud and incredibly annoying. Don't get me wrong, I am all for super high CFM fans and can tolerate the noise that comes from that, BUT VIBRATIONS AGAINST METAL? *we're all going to die*If…

Pros
  • Exactly what we wanted!
Cons
  • The product may not be available in a variety of colors or styles

Could be thicker best in my review

Could be thicker. Did what I needed to do but why not make it a little thicker? It was pretty flimsy and hard to line up for the top mounted fan.

Pros
  • A very simple and functional product, no complaints.
Cons
  • The gaskets may not fit tightly enough to fully eliminate vibration

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Does the job. on my review.

90 percent improvement over before. Sealed radiator to fan. Still a little light shining through, but any thicker and I would have had to get bigger screws. Overall happy with purchase.

Pros
  • They Fit well, item just as described.
Cons
  • good idea

Makes case fans happy!

This won't work miracles, but it will reduce the vibrations going through your case and in some cases, it will make things slightly quieter. Is this mandatory? NOPE. This is for someone who wants to make their PC as quiet as possible. Period. End of story. It's not going to take that one noisy fan you have and make it magically silent though. A good test would be to remove the fan you would use this gasket for. Put electrical tape between that fan and wherever it mounts to, then reinstall the…

Pros
  • Good for what it is
Cons
  • The gaskets may cause compatibility issues with other hardware components

for an odd cooling configuration

On a computer I built earlier this year, I ended up having to mount two of my exhaust fans (Cooler Master SickleFlow 120) on the outside of my case (Cooler Master Elite 430). There needed to be something between the fans and the case to keep the fans from drawing outside air from the gap between the case and the fans, and thus force them to draw as much air as possible from the inside of the case through the vents. These gaskets achieve this to a reasonable level, but I can tell from the thin…

Pros
  • 2 pack
Cons
  • The product may not be widely available in brick-and-mortar stores

They do what you need them to do.

What you see is what you get. These gaskets seem to be high quality, all the holes were punched correctly. They also came well packed. I have no complaints.I would reccomend these to others.

Pros
  • Reduced vibration on my fan.
Cons
  • The gaskets may not be able to withstand heavy use or abuse

Good Spacers, but won't stop vibrations

I was having issues with one of my older fans vibrating very badly. I thought I'd give these a try before I paid for a whole new fan. These will work good as spacers but they don't really stop any of the vibration. I will not be purchasing these again and will just go to buying a new fan.

Pros
  • ‎No
Cons
  • The product may not be suitable for use in extreme weather conditions

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Does exactly what it says.

It fit in well and has noticeably reduced the annoying white noise emanating from my PC. If that sounds like something you want, buy this. Don't listen to that annoying whine any longer than you have to. I'll be buying more as the need arises.

Pros
  • Wanted isolate the vibration of an exhaust fan. It works fine. The screw holes were correct.
Cons
  • The gaskets may not provide as much noise reduction as advertised

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works great good for me

Relatively easy to install and I noticed an instant decrease in case fan vibration. Will buy more for rest of fans. That's my review.

Pros
  • Fits perfectly and helps to reduce vibration noise.
Cons
  • The product may not be well-reviewed by other users

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great fan gasket, does as it's supposed to.

(Review written by item recipient, not by above account holder name)Great fan gasket for sealing airflow. Low to moderate dampening, as with any rubber gasket/shroud. For full noise dampening you'd need silicone fan mounting or other ways of fully decoupling any vibrations. I found these MUCH easier to work with than Bitspower ones since these are thicker and make a tighter fit.

Pros
  • Price seems a bit high
Cons
  • The price point may be too high for some consumers

We use these for all high RPM fans in our builds

When installing the Noctua 3000 RPM model fans, we always utilize these bushings. They really help keep the vibrations (not that much in a good fan like Noctua) separated from the chassis. When you are buying really good fans, you want to make sure that all of their air is going where you point it (and not leaking due to air spaces). This provides a means of sealing that gap between fan housing and case. Well worth it when you are putting the money into quality fans (or even cheap ones for that

Pros
  • Black color
Cons
  • The gaskets may not be well-suited for certain types of industrial applications
