Ideal yarn for making blankets

I love Bernat Softee Chunky yarn for knitting blankets. The yarn is very soft and quite quick to knit due to its thickness (a few weeks to sew a blanket in my spare time as I work full time). I've used this to create some quilts that I gave away and everyone loved them. They are warm, cozy and soft.
