Mostly good...until the heat hits

UPDATE: As mentioned, heat can be an issue. Despite the sun visor on the windshield, the sun heats up the car so much that tiny "bubbles" (fins) appear. Most likely these are "stretch marks" due to the different expansion of the original plastic screen and the added glass. The latter is normal as the bubbles are in the adhesive layer. , they seem to stay even after the car has cooled down and another day of the same weather didn't make it better or worse, so if you're in the South or anywhere with hot days (today was 94F in North Carolina) this may not be a long-term solution. Of course, you don't need a screen protector to begin with.. From the looks of it, and it's probably simple physics, but a solc hes product must have a rejection of high temperature fluctuations is critical. I'm not the most experienced at making sure there are no blisters, but it went well. (Mainly because I use a nanofiber cloth and lens cleaning solution, followed by bubble air.) After installation, the rough part of the edge (see picture) was visible and disappeared due to the clean installation. The bubble is the result of edge issues, but thankfully it's not over the screen. I can massage it for a moment but the roughness of the edges brings it back after a few minutes. Many reviews mention heat issues, which is likely due to the differential thermal expansion of the plastic screen and the protective glass. This should still be an issue for me and I'll update it, but the other "issues" are that the glass is naturally shinier and fingerprints are still visible. Therefore, there is no anti-glare coating and "oleophobia" does not prevent smearing (like basically any other device with similar requirements).
