The breast collar is very well made, the backlight is safe to use, the collar is adjustable and does not rub against the fur. I also like that it can be charged with the included USB charging cable. I have a 28 year old TWH mare and she stands up and struts like a queen when the lights on her breast collar come on. The first time I dressed her I rode her back to the paddock and she usually can't wait to sit down and have dinner. But when the collars caught fire, she decided she wasn't ready for dinner and wanted to go to the parade, did a few more laps and felt genuinely happy. In the next few days she wants to drive down the street to brag to her neighbors and so on. I really think she likes the light up collar because when the lights are off she parks at the gate and just wants to eat dinner. I like them too - it gets dark early and the light gives off a nice little glow and people can see where we are in the dark to 100-150ft (and maybe even further but we didn't test the range) . ), which is very convenient from a security point of view. They are great and I bought a second set for trail riding.
