Review on πŸ–€ Classic and Elegant KOHLER K-2874-KA Canvas Cast Iron Bathroom Sink in Black 'n Tan by Adrian Hayes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

High quality kitchen and bathroom sanitary ware

I'm giving this sink a 5 as it's significantly better quality than cheaper coated steel sinks. Cast iron is heavy, yes, but it has a beautifully muffled sound when water falls on it - not the pewter like in cheap sinks. The glaze is glossy and luxurious, we can say that this is an elite sink. It's a little small, but if you install it from below, it gets a little deeper. It's also a bit heavier, but no problem installing it. We looked at many sinks looking for the right shape for a side faucet that was uniform in shape and depth rather than deep at the back/flat at the front. This one fits the bill! It's a refreshingly simple shape that has a modern twist. I would like a colored sink because I love the sea salt color but we chose white to match the toilet, boring I know. I know Kohler cast iron sinks last forever: my parents have had a dark blue Kohler cast iron sink for over 40 years and even after all these years it still looks perfect. The glaze is still good, the color has not faded, there are no chips, holes, stains or rust. You can't go wrong with this.
