I thought I only use it on the Autobahn as a "Cruise Control" aid. As it turns out, I use it all the time! At first it seemed to me that it always gets in the way, but after a few days I found a cute spot and got used to it. Now I don't even notice it anymore. The heel of my hand rests on the lever and I don't have to accelerate as much. Before I bought this, I agonized over spending a few dollars on what is essentially a small piece of plastic. Now that I have used it I would order it again in a heartbeat if it was lost.
