I am a 42 year old woman premenopausal and have been experiencing heavy, prolonged periods, which as you can imagine has left me chafed "down there”. Having to wipe and change my pads often, which by the way when you pair this foam spray with Tena’s overnight pads, the two together helps immensely with heavy, prolonged periods. I have been suffering, only using the Tucks pads. They worked but were not made for full coverage of the entire area front to back. They were only circle wet pads. I needed something that would stay on me and would give instant relief. That’s when it hit me, that I should look into post labor and delivery relief. I knew something had to exist and I needed to find it. That’s when I came across this foaming spray. I read the reviews and I always know that buying anything like this, there was a chance it wasn’t going to work. I had nothing to lose at this point and I was desperate. Us women know that when we are in this kind of pain, we’ll stop at nothing to find relief. I purchased this and it came the next day. I literally was on my last tuck pad and knew I’d be in trouble if my package never arrived on time. It of course did and I rushed to get it off my porch. I immediately opened it and used it. Absolute instant relief. I first use a no-rinse foaming spray to clean the area. I use XL bath wipes to apply the cleaning foam. You do not have to rinse the cleaning foam off but I use another wipe to gently wipe it off. I then put on a new pad on my panties and sprayed the pad in a line down the center with the witch hazel foam. As I stood up, I made sure the large Tena pad stayed in the center and pressed it to my inflamed area. It burned a little at first, but not much and I expected this because the Tucks pads did the same. It’s just the witch hazel doing it’s thing. After a few seconds the burning stops and is replaced with instant relief. I immediately went upstairs and my husband noticed I was walking better. He asked me if it worked and I told him that it absolutely worked. Like an instant miracle. I could definitely see how this could work on post-labor and delivery tears or stitches, on hemorrhoids, or any chafed or raw area. Just do not get it on the face as I’m sure that would not be good. If you’re hurting "down there”, definitely give this a try. It really does work and you can keep applying it every time you use the bathroom. The bottle is small enough to fit in a purse too if you need to travel.
