First, make sure your kid likes strappy sandals.
I can only share what my 2.5 year old likes/dislikes: he doesn't like the feel of the strap between his toes and somehow the overall shoe is too small and the elastic part to put the show on his leg to hold is tight for his long leg; although there is enough room on the insole where his foot would be.
