Review on 🦈 Green Shark Rotator Professional Lift-Away Upright Vacuum Cleaner (NV501GN) by Laura Turner

I have switched from a DC65 to a professional upright Shark Rotator (NV501GN). It seems to clean carpets better than mine is a Dyson, but it doesn't work on hardwood floors. The Shark also had a significantly shorter cord, which bothered me for a while until I got used to it. Okay, well these things were small pros and cons for me and I was relatively happy with my purchase considering the purchase price. My negative review is due to a design flaw that resulted in a hole forming in the hose. I noticed a hole in the hose when I had the vacuum for a little over a year. I called Shark to see if it was under warranty and the vacuum and it's there but the hose isn't there. They want me to pay $60 for a hose that needs to be covered due to its design. I am very disappointed and will never buy a Shark vacuum again. To update. I ended up paying half price for the hose, $25 after shipping and tax. I finally got it and put it on my vacuum cleaner, but it's not the right hose. That's the wrong color. I can live with that, but it's also shorter than the original hose and that only adds to the design flaw. I called the company and they do NOT make replacement hoses for my device. They didn't refund me for the replacement tube because "I got it for half price". They also wanted me to send the hose back. NO. I paid for it and will sell it to get my money back. They said they would replace my vacuum as they were supposed to. After all, it is not subject to warranty and repair. I had to pay for the delivery of a new vacuum cleaner and have to return my old one. They sent me a prepaid shipping label for my old device. I'm hoping to find a box that works because it said they won't ship a new one until they get the old one. So I've been without a vacuum cleaner for about 2 weeks and won't get a replacement for at least 2-4 weeks. I have two dogs. That makes me a very unhappy person. I will never buy a shark again.
