ATTENTION! I bought one of these to use in my kitchen with my municipal water system (what I measured was below average particle levels). The filters worked normally for 6 weeks, but were then quickly completely clogged and unusable. To fix this, the company recommends cleaning the outside perimeter of the filters or peeling the surface with a vegetable peeler, but that didn't work. After too long a response time, the company agreed to replace the filters under warranty, but the replacement filters clogged in just 6 weeks, like the previous ones, despite preventive maintenance on my part. These filter designs are apparently not perfected and will not work with all water sources, no matter how dirty or clean. They should not be offered for sale unless they guarantee a full refund.
