I was hesitant to order this for a 2012 Ford F150.
I was reluctant to order this for a 2012 Ford F150 after reading several reviews stating it was not a secure mount and that others would need to reinstall it. Mine is very comfortable alone. Make sure you have two latches in the position feature to click into your bumper and you can't just grab it and wiggle let alone pull it unless you pull hard, which most people don't would do. try first. At first I only had one side to snap into, it was "loose" fill until I checked and noticed that the plastic tip locking feature was not fully installed and locked into the bumper.
