I bought 20 aluminum edging strips to protect the edges of wooden stairs and add a safety element (against slipping). I used 6 strips along their entire length on a stair and cut the other strips to 31 inches for the stair leading from my garage to the kitchen. " each strip before removing the protective film. Once the strip is in place with the adhesive exposed you will need a pry bar to remove it if it has not been positioned correctly. IMPORTANT: Read the 3 steps on the packaging. And before removing the backing, practice applying the non-adhesive front of the aluminum strip to the stair a half" above the horizontal surface. After removing the backing, do the same position, then press on the top of the strip to attach it.
