Why I tried this dental floss holder: I floss with one hand and can't keep two pairs of fingers in my mouth. I don't like small individual flosses because I can't hold them well and they seem unnecessary to me. The company that created my latest thread no longer makes or sells it. It's a shame, because EVERYTHING I'm seeing seems worse to me. However, what I love about it is that it's a fully portable tool - it has a stash of filament attached to it, and I love that it has a snap-on lid for the filament. I can carry it in my purse or leave it protected on a bedside table until I need it. I don't just floss in my bathroom. I'm disappointed that the grip is a bit short for accessing the molars and the neck opening isn't as wide as my previous one. The thread included in the kit is too thin, but it does the job. I hope to find a spare filament so I can use the pen again.
