Good product. As you can see from the photos, the dirt has disappeared from my floor. We just moved in and it's my first time cleaning the floors. Pretty hard! Our schedule makes it difficult to mop and sweep at the same time so this will help. Many children and 2 dogs. And right now my kids think it's cool so they're happy to use it until the novelty wears off. Four things would make it better. 1) It doesn't clean the edges very well. Even going through it a few times, it misses about an inch off the carpet bars and walls, and occasionally spills dirty water when attempted. 2) Dirty water will spurt out if you tilt it too far. I have long arms so I usually stand in one place and tidy up and then move on. I had to remember to walk while doing the section. Just a learning curve I guess. It sucked up dirty water easily. 3) Battery only about 20 minutes. It would be great if you could buy and swap another battery instead of waiting. Or even wired. I would like a cable so I don't have to think about charging. 4) If he had a steam option that would be great! My steamer just broke and I loved it. It definitely makes you feel like your floors are getting clean. Also with everything I would recommend. I know my floors get washed more often because it's a step. Just make sure everything is assembled and ready to go so you don't waste your battery carrying things around. Oh the self cleaning option is great. I did this several times in a row until the water was almost clear. I don't usually spend that much money on anything. Very cheap one income family but my friend bought a cross shaft and then I started investigating it and it had mixed reviews and didn't seem to last long. I found this and decided to give it a try. I hope this lasts forever and I justify my money.
