They are a very comfortable and essential part of the Circaid compression system, even in hot weather. They are a cotton blend with very good elasticity to fit most feet. I would give these sleeves five stars if they were hemmed at both the top and bottom. The raw end tends to unravel in the wash and tumble dry. The resulting threads sometimes become tangled with other items in the laundry. As such, I carefully trim any loose threads at the open ends of these lower sleeves before beginning the wash. Hand washing sleeves is effective, but air drying takes significantly more time. Bottom line, they're top-notch and truly effortless.
