Pros: The best batteries in their class. Abandoned the use of disposable batteries and completely switched to eneloop batteries. I use them complete with a semi-professional charger. Cons: A common problem with ANY batteries is that the voltage is lower than on a disposable battery - 1.2 volts versus 1.5. Personally, I once saw a Chinese toy that worked ONLY from disposable batteries and did not work with fully charged batteries - there was not enough voltage. But this is a general drawback of batteries, and not specifically this model.
