I have to admit that I'm a longtime SONOS fan, although I think I've received a lot of constructive criticism over the years. When it comes to SONOS MOVE, I think they nailed it! Here's what I like: 1. Sounds awesome! And here's why: the bass is substantial, even from the outside, with no distortion. Although it plays very loud, it sounds very balanced even at low volume. They've done something amazing with the highs and mids, where the sound is consistent across the entire side and front projection of the speaker, and not just in the "sweet zone" at the front like other speakers. Beautifully detailed and realistic sound.2. That looks great. And here's why: It has the same great looks I've come to expect from SONOS, but there's something about the choice of materials for this product that makes it even better. It fits perfectly with my other SONOS speakers and takes up no more space than, say, the SONOS ONE.3. Auto Trueplay - Automatically adjusts the sound based on where you place the speaker so it always sounds its best. I think it was quite necessary to do this, but it works very well. I've placed the MOVE in some pretty tricky spots inside and out and within 20 or 30 seconds or so it just fixes itself and sounds great again! 4. WiFi range - I took the MOVE outside and started walking quite a distance around the house and yard and never lost the connection. SONOS did something special with Wi-Fi to make it super reliable.5. Bluetooth - Even if you're traveling somewhere without Wi-Fi, you can still connect via Bluetooth. I love having this feature so I don't have to worry about whether there is wifi or not everywhere I travel.6. It feels solid - it has a great sense of solidity and balance. There is an integrated handle on the back which is just part of the design. I've put it on sand and grass and it seems stable and balanced. Stereo pair - I only have one and this allows me to fill my whole yard with incredible sound, but I want to know that if I ever get another one I could set them up as a stereo pair and give me a real open air concert! 8. It's weatherproof - you can get caught in the rain or get dirty and you can just hose it down. I plan to take good care of MOVE, but it's nice to know that it offers this level of protection from the elements.9. It has voice control - just like the SONOS ONE, it has microphones so you can use Alexa and Google's voice assistants. This is very convenient, especially when you are cooking outdoors.10. Charging Station β It comes with a good charging station and is not sold as an accessory like other brands do. What I don't like: 1. Travel bag - it comes with a nice pouch but I doubt how long it will last and how well it will protect. I'm sure SONOS will eventually offer a travel bag accessory, but for $400 they could include a nylon-lined bag with a handle and an accessory pouch. The USB-C charger is great as it comes with a good charging dock, but if the charger was a detachable USB-C charger it would be easier for you to take it with you when you travel. I'm sure SONOS will eventually sell a USB-C charger, but then again, I think for $400 that might be included. All in all this is a fantastic product. I would say this is the best SONOS product they have ever made. I just love having a "truly wireless" wireless speaker!
