These gloves are good value for money. Something is better than nothing. I recommend ordering 1 size smaller (My hand is on the line between Med-Lrg, size 8.25". I have always worn medium to small and they fit perfectly. As I do cross country/road running and hiking , I needed something to keep my hands warm when the early morning temperatures are between 30 and 40 degrees.Being able to use my phone with gloves on is a bonus and not a big deal for me.I give it a 3 out of 5 given that although I can handle my fingers I stayed cold and I only ran outside for 15-20 minutes PROS: - Comfortable fleece interior - Snaps help keep them together - Can control a smartphone - Blocks "direct wind" AGAINST: - Fingers stay cold (with or without direct wind) (If you think about it, if you can control your smartphone then it's thin, and if it's too thin then how can it warm your whole hand/fingers?) Reviews, in which people say that ye e hands / fingers woke up warm. also said they are driving or staying in a place where they will not be outside for a long time. So yes. Something is better than nothing. Real runners/hikers don't use their phones the way they should. (Find your tunes and roll out)
