I fitted these to my Ford Escape 05 today and the hardest part was removing the factory shock absorbers from the car. Once out of the way, deploying these devices was an easy task. I had to use a crescent wrench to hold the top shaft still while I tightened the nut. The supplied nuts are not as large as the factory nuts, so they are not interchangeable.
