Update! All products may or may not be good. Customer service is the hallmark of a good company. The retailer contacted me about their disappointment with my experience and explained that they are using my comments to improve the product. This is a great answer. Got a second block hoping for better results, same problem. Spring. The product came with a plug inserted into the side dispenser. In order to use this in a lateral connection, this connector had to be unscrewed and then another threaded adapter screwed in laterally. Thereafter, the plug had to be reinserted into the upper dispensing opening. When I first tried to remove the connector from the top, I noticed some difficulties and resistance. This was because the assembler threaded the connector and stripped the threads from both the male and female threads. Then I noticed the same thing was happening with the donor adapter. This is very disappointing as this article has everything you need to make a great grease gun. But ever wanting to switch to a different configuration would render it useless. Extremely poor quality control. I set up the element for side output and it worked just fine for that use only. If I ever wanted to take advantage of all the opportunities, I would have been out of luck. Very unhappy with the serious lack of quality control and materials used. Other than that, I really wanted this article to be very popular.
