Bought to replace the one that came with my Cuisinart SS-15 (which I love by the way). The original worked fine, but I had a teaspoon of coffee sludge at the bottom of the cup - thicker, grainier coffee that wasn't filtered as well as it should be. After suffering from this for about 18 months (but increasingly only using Kcups to avoid this problem) I figured maybe I just had a faulty one and ordered a replacement. Other reviews do not indicate this problem. Guess what? Same problem on the first day. I've tried using a lighter grind (but I like strong coffee) and a coarse grind, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. Does anyone else have this problem and how did you solve it? That being said I love this machine as it combines my old coffee pot with a separate Keurig and works great. I just don't want to chew my last sip of coffee :-/ The photo shows what's left after I've finished my coffee with cream (usually yellowish-brown).
