Very nice monitor design

If you hide the Dell logo at the bottom of the monitor and show it to your friends, most of them won't bet it's a Dell product. This is a very "big" design monitor with a great LCD screen and a good price. It's also a mount that, for some reason, seemed like few monitors in this "class" from competing brands. Mounting the monitor on the wall with an adjustable bracket easily frees up the desk and raises it up a notch, looks wise. The front of the screen is a single smooth glass panel, frameless design, even the logo is not raised, and there are no buttons to break the look. The back of the monitor is also beautifully sculpted, gently tapering at the edges to a thickness of 1/2 to 5/8 inch. This product has no issues with the MacBook it is connected to, maybe even a little visible as the black color is pretty cool. It's "only" a 27-inch 1080p screen, there's Dell's 27-inch IPS screen with a higher resolution, but it's more than twice the size and doesn't have exactly the same design cues. For some reason even other Dell monitors don't have the S series. They don't have exactly the same build quality. Some of the other models have a raised edge at the bottom of the screen and/or don't have a standard VESA mount built in. To be honest I wish they had the same look and feel across the board as I would consider a second smaller and cheaper monitor as a second screen. For the price of this monitor I might be able to get a second one of the same size.

Pros

Cons
