Good shorts, durable and good looking

Bought these shorts to replace a decade old pair of cargo shorts that simply ran their course (rest ye well, friend, you earned it). I will say I really like these shorts. The pockets, the features, the color. All great. These are durable without being overly heavy, which is an upgrade from the old pair which felt so weighty you might expect them to deflect bullets. Also, the fabric looks like it will resist fading and stains which is a step up from the old pair as well.Lots of pockets in these, all fasten securely and allow for easy access. The shorts themselves move freely, and fit true to size. In addition, I find that these are wearable in social settings without looking like I am a little kid playing army.My only complaint, and it is a minor one, is that unlike the old cotton shorts this material doesn't seem to break in and retains some stiffness regardless of wear/wash/fabric softener. If that's the price of durability I will pay, but these will never become the go-to for something comfortable to wear around the house.

Pros
  • The design is sleek and stylish, suitable for various outdoor activities as well as casual wear
Cons
  • The shorts have poor ventilation
