Review on 🌐 LiftMaster 828LM Internet Gateway for Enhanced Connectivity by Trey Gilbert

I just installed a new LiftMaster in my two car garage and immediately ordered an 828LM Gateway. (The Revain was about $15 less than the LiftMaster). I followed the step-by-step guide suggested in the review mentioned above and everything went smoothly. I will only mention one point about registering a Myliftmaster account (via a computer) that caused a bit of confusion - during the registration process a device, its serial number and place name had to be added. After that, there was no indication that anything had happened and I didn't see the device anywhere. So I went ahead and downloaded the MyQ app, logged in with my LiftMaster registration and added the device to the app (which actually indicated the device was found). I immediately pressed the learn button on my garage wall control twice (as directed) and the garage door opener responded immediately. (I assume a learn button on the wall control might only be available on newer openers - it certainly helps avoid using the ladder)! I like that the opener beeps loudly and the light in front of the door flashes. closed by the application. My garage door is hurricane certified and very heavy!
