Excellent hood in safety and protection

I started welding school and was told the first thing. Don't buy a range hood on Amazon. It will break and you won't be able to go to the local store and buy a replacement part. so i did it anyway. I'm glad I did. This hood has worked amazingly for me. It darkens instantly, is very clear and easily visible from the window. The controls are wonderful. The only problem I can fault him is that the headgear is a bit cheap and not very comfortable. And "battery check function" is actually not a function. But I've been using it 8 hours a day, every day for 6 months now and I think it's worth every penny. Great hood.
